BEFORE YOU START YOUR TRIP
-
KNOW YOUR LIMIT - Everyone is affected by alcohol differently. Know how it affects you and set your limit to enjoy the U.P. Brew Trail. Develop an itinerary that helps you stick to your limits to make sure you don't over do it.
-
PACK YOU I.D. - You must be of legal drinking age to have alcoholic beverages at all brew stops. But, don't let that stop you from bringing the whole family to go out and enjoy some amazing nature trails in da U.P.
- PLAN YOUR RIDE - You have many options at most breweries for safe transportation, be sure to check ahead of time if the area you are going has Uber, Lyft, taxis, or public transportation. You can also come with a desginated driver.
DURING YOUR ADVENTURES
- EAT FIRST & STAY HYDRATED - There are many options for delicious dining along the U.P. Brew Trail. With trying new tasty food you could be slowing alcohol absorption rate into your bloodstream so you can enjoy more of your day of adventures along the U.P. trails. While dining don't forget that water is your best friend. Stay hydrated, my friend.
- ORDER OTHER SPECIALTY DRINKS - Many brew stops have other specialty drinks that are only available at their establishment and don't require alcohol. Be sure to try them out while you visit!
- RESPECT THE OUTDOORS - Be sure to pick up trash instead of dropping it. This will keep the trails and brew stops enjoyable for all.
- TALK TO OUR KIDS - Have an open and honest dialogue about the realities and harms of underage drinking. You can find resources for more information at Responsibility.org.
